Simple vegan chocolate chip cookies, made with just a handful of ingredients in under 20 minutes! These make a perfect dessert or snack to enjoy with a cup of tea. Gluten-free and super easy.

  • 1.25 cups gluten-free flour
  • 2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips


  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees C/150 F. 
  • Add the gluten-free flour, baking powder, coconut sugar and salt to a large mixing bowl and whisk together the dry ingredients. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, coconut oil and almond milk. 
  • Combine the wet and the dry ingredients, also folding in the chocolate chips. 
  • Using damp hands, roll the dough into small balls and gently flatten them down on a sheet of baking paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, until golden but still soft on the inside.
